1. The free workbench
Forward Bench is a free browser tool for evaluating supplier terms with your own inputs. The calculator, synthetic demo, vendor-line analysis, risk simulation and downloads are available without an account, payment card, subscription, pilot invitation or expiry.
The workbench provides decision support. Check the supplier notice, source export, assumptions and results before making a purchasing decision. It does not place orders, contact suppliers or write to an ERP.
2. Your data and your files
Usage records, item costs, on-hand quantities, supplier terms and analysis results are processed in browser memory. Inventory and transaction data are not sent to Forward Bench's account service, and there is no inventory upload or inventory database.
Settings, column mappings and explicitly scoped staple choices may be remembered in local browser storage. Transaction data is not autosaved. Refreshing, closing the tab or leaving an analysis can clear it; download any worksheet or memo you need before leaving.
3. How results should be used
Returns, cash requirements, quantities, stockout estimates and liquidation ranges are calculations from the inputs and named assumptions. They describe a scenario and are not a promise of savings, demand, availability or a particular business result.
You are responsible for using a supported export, confirming units and costs, checking the supplier's actual terms and deciding whether a purchase is appropriate. The workbench does not provide legal, tax, accounting or purchasing advice.
4. Optional accounts and previous payments
An account is optional and does not control analysis. It can manage sign-in options and records from a former paid service. New paid subscriptions and checkout are retired; existing payment records and cancellation tools remain available where configured.
Sign-in service availability does not change the free workbench. If the account service is unavailable, use the workbench without signing in.
5. Support and changes
Product support covers account access, former billing records and questions about using the workbench. Do not send inventory exports or confidential supplier information by email unless an appropriate transfer method has been agreed.
